Dr. Seth Jenkins

Dr. Jenkins is a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho and lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming for 7 years. He moved himself, his wife, and four kids to Rawlins in 2017 after purchasing High Plains Vision Center.

Dr. Jenkins graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry.  He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.  He completed his externships at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis and a private practice in Senatobia, Mississippi.  He has served eye care mission trips to national and international locations, including Kentucky and Merida, Mexico, to provide full-scope eye care to the less fortunate.

In addition to primary care optometry, his special interests include diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease related to diabetes, macular degeneration, hypertension, and glaucoma.  He can also treat ocular allergies, dry eye syndrome, and red eyes, as well as remove foreign bodies in the eye.

 

Dr. Jenkins is married to his high school tennis partner and they have four kids.  He enjoys tennis, volleyball, racquetball, teasing his wife and kids, riding dirt bikes, camping, hunting, and playing/coaching soccer.  Dr. Jenkins is very happy to live in Rawlins and is excited to serve the community
